BRFC - the stadium so different from my BRFC home!
Shame Uncle Jack did not rebuild the fourth side but the three that are there offer among the best facilities and viewing experience in the country. Tall yet still feeling close to the pitch, like the Millinium in this and so unlike New Wembley.
Plenty of parking at the stadium and close by, but all paying. Station is a 10-15 minute walk away along the Bolton Road.
This was the first time I used a lift to get to my seat!
The ones I used were on a par with many hotels I have stayed in, although maybe that says more about the hotels I choose! No whiffs, stains, spillages, plenty of soap, normal electric hand blowers.
Usual concourse like catering and facilities behind the seating. Good choice - the chips smelled good enough to eat (which I had already).
Plenty around - this was the game v Man U after all.
I sat at the Blackburn End upper tier with friends. The ground was almost full, and the other lot made a lot of noise. Rovers unlucky not to beat a rather lacklustre Man U imho.
