Friendly club, easy to find, good banter with home fans, but the stadium looks rather jaded, and one complete missing side does not help at all, something you don't get off TV coverage from here as the gantry stands alone on a former terrace.
Easily spotted from the motorway roundabout. No idea where the railway station was though, or the town centre for that matter!
As a visitor, you share one end of the ground with home fans. A good atmosphere created because of this. The other end 20% full. No posts or obstructions.
All seems a bit dated. Did not use the loos.
Not a huge choice but had Bovril. Nothing to stir your tea with so had to use a rather large fork for the pies to fish out the teabag. Horrible UHT milk, like everywhere now it seems.
Not sure why the police were there really, probably muddling up the Bristol clubs. Stewards sensible and allowed the banter to flow between the fans.
Seemed good in the away end - see above. However your eyes constantly drawn to the missing side of the stadium, and the odd bridge of executive boxes at the far end.
