Taking everything into account it wasn't a bad little ground
The ground was in a picturesque location on the outskirts of the village. Even tho I travelled by coach I found it slightly strange that a railway line runs near the ground and doesn't stop in Ilkeston
There were plenty of places to stand and all of the actual stands themselves were sheltered
Overall the facilities where okay with easy access to the bar during the match as it was situated inside the ground. However the tannoy system was disappointing due to a lack of clarity when announcing goals etc and the failure to announce the team line-ups
Ilkestons pies where exquisite as the pastry was really soft with such an appetising texture though slightly overpriced @ £1.80. Drinks where also moderately - a shade overpriced for a non-league ground with a pint of Strongbow a reasonable £2.40 but a can of coke 80p
Not applicable as there was no potential for a game of this stature to get out of hand
There wasn't really any chanting from the home support apart from if they got a corner or scored a goal so it never had the potential to be a boisterous affair. The Ilkeston fans I spoke to were friendly enough
