After a long coach journey with plenty of booze we finally arrived at Kingsmeadow. However despite already having plenty we were keen for more booze so a huge group of us went to Wimbledon's social bar. Fans who came by train had experienced the strip bar but we were too late for this. Despite being a bit expensive and busy it was easy to get served. There was also a barbecue outside which is always nice. After a couple of pints and a hotdog we went into the ground and got some pre match atmosphere going in half of behind the goal which we had been given. We generally thought they'd be 300 - 400 York fans going to the game however more and more piled in till it was crammed. So the whole stand behind the goal became for away fans, with home fans moving to the side stand. Once more and more York fans piled in and the noise became louder and louder with around 800 - 850 York fans in attendance. The game itself was fairly uneventful one but with York dominating much of the game. York took the lead early in the second half causing absolutely wild celebrations in the away end. That turned out to be the only goal and the large away following celebrated a very important win. Wimbledon was a very enjoyable away day and more enjoyable than most in the league were in.
Was no problem whatsoever to find.
Terracing was ok and good for creating an atmosphere. The view was fine.
As far as toilets go in non league football it was ok.
I was very drunk however I got some chips which I remember as being nice.
Superb - 2 fit female coppers were stood in front of a large and noisy city following and the male steward had some great banter which is always nice to see.
The Wimbledon fans sung once or twice but were fairly poor but were very friendly people.
