Almost as soon as we got there we were subject to vitriolic vile abuse, non of the usual non league friendliness, sadly.
Onto the ground, the stewards seemed alright, sharing a laugh or two with us. The price to get in was over the top for this level of football.
The stadium itself, built for league glory, was vastly underpopulated. With the far, terraced end strictly out of bounds, instead we were put into a small corner, just around from the baying Welsh fans. All good fun.
The stewards told us that we couldn't fly our St George flags as it would incite the locals, odd I thought as every where the Welsh go, so do the flags.
The Racecourse ground is a magnificent place, bereft of fans sadly, big, grand, except for the unused part. It's just a shame the reception is never friendly.
Expensive!
