Of the grounds I have been to this is definitely one of the best. The stadium itself is beautiful, it is well run by very polite stewards and the facilities are also up to scratch. What's more, the fans are very noisy but also very friendly as well. It made for a very good day out. I'd recommend Forest to any football fan.

Location

The City Ground is within easy distance of Nottingham rail station and once ye get as far as the Trent bridge it sticks out like a sore thumb. You cant miss it, or neighbours Notts County either. There's also a Mcdonald's within spitting distance of the ground too. It's in easy range of everything. Top marks.

View

The view was absolutely flawless, as was the legroom. Of course, that may have more to do with me being seated behind the dugouts the only time I've been up there and maybe it'd be a bit worse elsewhere in the ground. But I liked what I saw.

Facilities

Toilets were clean enough, cant complain, within easy reach. The stand was very easy to get out of as well.

Food & Drink

Didn't get any food when I was there, so not fair for me to evaluate this.

Police & Stewards

Another fine example of good stewarding here. After the end of this game, when the majority of the home support had left, I could hear the steward having a bit of a talk with one of the forest supporters. No idea what he did, but he appeared to handle the situation quite calmly. Also whenever I had need of them, I found them very approachable, friendly and helpful.

Atmosphere

The local support is vocal and fairly passionate, not intimidating but quite noisy anyway. I found the atmosphere to be quite good, and it made for a good game - despite, in all honesty, the actual match being very poor from both teams, Forest eventually losing 1-0. They are a very well-supported club. What's more their fans are amongst the friendliest I've known, I found Forest's supporters very good-humoured and talkative. In fact, I actually found the people of Nottingham very friendly as well throughout the whole time that I was there.
