On first sight this is a great venue for non-League football (the ground is shared with Newcastle United Reserves and is HQ for Northumberland FA).
The pitch has an embankment on one side which gives an elevated view of the pitch, along this enbankment is where 3 small stands are located, one being a terrace the other 2 seated, these 2 are sperated with one of the those flexi-tunnels which are in use at top stadia, heaven knows why West Allotment Celtic have one!
The other 3 sides of the ground are open, and as like my trip to The Glebe Ground Whickham, one side has a cricket pitch.
About 5 miles from Newcastle city centre on Whitley Road.
Nearest stop on a Metro is Benton (5min walk)
Buses..not a clue though I did see an M55 heading towards Four Lane Ends, that is the next stop on the metro, so you may as well take the metro from Newcastle for the whole trip!
More than adequate for this level of football - I do like the elevated view though
Didn't visit the toilet, they are contained within a bar which looked popular! There is a small hatch serving a limited selection of refreshments
Two portions of (luke warm) chips and two bovrils came to £3.20.
They had a board with pictures of hot-dogs burgers etc, but on the day all they had was tea, coffee, Bovril, chicken pie and chips! Very Dissapointing!!!!!

It would appear in this league, only the away supporters make some noise.
Billingham Town were the opposition today, and unfortunately one of their "supporters" liberal use of the English language, was unwelcome and very much unecerssary!
