"Traditional League Ground"

has rated Bootham Crescent 5.0 out of 5.

facebook-user-63233's review of Bootham Crescent

Starting to age but traditional Football League ground.

Location

Traditionally between rows of terraces, no car park though a fair bit of street parking around. 15 minute walk from the train station.

Not signposted around the City at all.

View

Few pillars, open air away end provides no obstructions.

Facilities

Very little in the ground , toilets unfriendly probably the worst in the league.

Food & Drink

Hugely expensive and limited.

Police & Stewards

Overzealous stewarding from Showsec, though have employed own stewards so much of that has gone, police seem to come in unnecessary numbers.

Atmosphere

Not much in the away end as is open air, though can get a bit noisy in the David Longhurst at times.
