Went to this game as Newcastle were not playing and thought it would be a good day out, and it was. Bristol is a great city with a lot of good places to drink. The Ground is miles away from the City Centre however. So if you're thinking about walking, it's going to take you a good 40 minutes! I recommend getting a taxi!
The location is poor and overall the Stadium isn't brilliant. The stand behind the goal (Blackthorns stand) looks a good terrace, as does the new stand opposite to the dugouts, the rest of the stadium is just a mish-mash of different structures.
Still the view was good, atmosphere was ok, food was nice and decently priced. All in all, a decent little ground. Will be much better when its completely re-done however.
2 decent pubs near the ground we found, The Wellington and Inn on the Green. But the Stadium is nowhere near the city centre so be warned.
View was good, nothing to obstruct view on the terrace I was at, however I believe there are restricted views in other areas of the ground.
Had no problem at all with the facilities.
Food was nice, great Cheese and Onion Pasty and a cup of Bovril, superb!
Helpful and friendly. No Problems.
Decent enough atmosphere.
