This stadium is far and away the worst stadium in the Premier League. In fact if they were relegated, Fratton Park would be the worst ground in the Championship too.
I must say I do like the tradition the stadium still has, especially the mock Tudor facade, but, the toilets are pathetic and the food and drink outlet is just as bad.
A real grotty stadium that needs to be redeveloped, or demolished as soon as possible!
Fratton Station is a ten minute walk at the maximum and the stadium is well sign posted and can be seen from the station.
The seats have been bolted to old terracing that is uneven. There is no legroom and it is so cramped it can actually be difficult to stand. The view is alright unless you're near one of the poles that props up the hastily added roof on the away stand.
I've given this half a star but that's generous. The toilets are small and I didn't even venture into them, preferring to hold it. The food outlet is also small and over priced!
Well overpriced!
Not a huge police presence, but the stewards were helpful and friendly.
Well, we sang ''Where's your famous atmosphere?'' to a crowd that was quite low, even for a Carling Cup Third Round match. To be fair, Chelsea won 4-0 so the home crowd didn't have much to sing about.
