The JJB (or DW) Stadium is a bit 50/50 for me. It's a decent stadium with a good view but there are a few things that let it down. The fact that there's only 10,000 - 15,000 home fans and many empty seats makes the ground look depleted in it's own way. However the facilities are decent and the location isn't bad.
It's quite far from Wigan North Western, but if the weather is alright (as it has been on the three trips I've had) the walk along the Leeds-Liverpool canal is quite nice.
Not cramped and even if you're down the front you get a good view. There's no obstructed views.
Facilities are good and easy to access (apart from the betting hut, which is a bit small) and the prices are not too bad.
As above.
Stewards are always friendly enough and the police don't get too involved unless necessary.
No atmosphere, usually because there are no fans to make any noise, apart from one w*nker with a drum.
