It isn't the best ground I've been to, but it's relatively new, it's got good facilities and a good view. I was quite far back in the Bill Shankly Kop and the view was brilliant. The statue of Sir Tom Finney, for me is wonderful. Simply because it is so different from any other statue, set into a fountain, recreating a picture taken at Stamford Bridge in the 1950s. The only part of the ground that needs improvement is the new Invincibles Pavillion which has been left with some work still to be done, which does take away from the ground a little bit.
Not the best of locations. Not very close to the railway station but good access by bus, although the trip back into the town centre after the game took quite a while.
About as comfortable as any other ground. Not cramped in any way. The view from the away stand is impeccable.
No better or worse than any other stadium. Served relatively quickly considering how busy it was.
Decent value for money, food tasted very good.
Never really came into contact with stewards or police, one steward directed me to my seat.
Not a great atmosphere, especially considering a top Premier League club were the opposition.
