Meadow Lane has been totally refurbished over the years, leaving a modern, all-seater stadium which is one of the best in League Two. As a student in Nottingham, I have visited regularly, and it's a decent ground to visit. The only problem is that the 20,000-odd capacity is never utilised, with average attendances around the 4-5,000 mark, so the ground seems rather empty!
The ground is pretty easy to find. If you're looking for parking, then try the Victoria Embankment, which is less than 10 minutes walk away and is free - head into Nottingham on the A453, follow the signs for "Meadows Area", taking a right fork at traffic lights, and then right at the next roundabout alongside the river. Simply head as far along as you can. For the record, the station is about 10 mins walk from the ground.
I've sat in three of the four stands on my various visits, and from each the view is excellent and the legroom good. No complaints in this respect at all!
Again, the ground is fairly modern so the facilities are good.
The food and drink has always been good when I've indulged. Prices are fairly standard at football league level.
Never noticed them - no complaints!
The problem with having 5,000 people in a 22,000 seater stadium is that it will feel rather empty - and this doesn't help the atmosphere.
