Having lived down Plymouth for 5 years and seeing a few Plymouth games, the ground is close to rubbish.
A refurb of the stadium means now there is a bowl minus one stand where the old rickety wooden steps still are.
They certainly have tried in trying to make it modern but unfortunately the quality or layout doesnt help. The concourses are quite tight and the viewing is average but you feel very low to the pitch.
Easy 15-20 minute walk from the station and about 35-40 from the pubs in town or down the Barbican.
To walk from the station you go through a nice park.
Reasonable leg room but you find you are low to the pitch so trying to watch something happen on the far side of the pitch is difficult.
Cramped and gets busy quickly.
Nice pies/pasties and local cider in the fridge. Happy days!
Reasonable, little police numbers around and helpful.
Plymouth are poor at home and too away but I guess they only turn up for big matches.
