Went there in the 2010/2011 season as a Brighton fan. Last game of the season, we were already champions, Notts County's fate still in the balance. They survived, fled onto the pitch and ended up singing "you are going up", to which we replied "you are staying up". Great football fans, everyone we met after the giving us good luck messages and all telling us to "stuff forest for them!".
Was a good atmosphere during the game, could feel the tension building until Notts County knew they were safe. It is something to see, just how close the two Nottingham grounds are. Whilst Forest have been historically higher up the football pyramid, Meadow Lane could comfortably host Championship games IMO and then who knows.... Let's hope we see them there soon!
Very easy to get to and a great atmosphere in the 'Hooters' bar opposite prior to kick off!!!
I was almost level with the goal and had a decent goal, although perception would have been better if I was higher. The amount we were singing and celebrating being champions, didn't sit down the entire game!!!!!
Good atmosphere, although was very tense until Notts County knew they were safe. Great scenes once they were!!
