etxebe has rated Yuexiushan Stadium 4.0 out of 5.
This is possibly my favourite Chinese football ground to visit. Centrally located, not oversized and a half size running track meaning you're closer to the pitch than most stadiums in the country. Plus the stands are quite steep so you feel close to the action.
Also tickets are usually cheap and easy to get at the game unless it's one of the title chasing teams. Guangzhou R&F (now known as City) are a fun team to watch and often punch above their weight. If it's an afternoon game (a rare thing in China) a walk through the park afterwards is well worth a visit.
In the centre of the city and 5/10 mins walk from a metro station. It's also right next to Yuexiu hill but I'd recommend entering the ground from the city side not from the park.
The view is good as it's not a huge ground and the running track isn't full size. However there's an issue in leaving the ground in that 90% of fans will go out the city side and there's only one exit. Worth leaving your seat a few minutes before FT to make your way out unless you're prepared to wait a while to get out.
There are a few basic toilets, maybe not the cleanest.
Standard limited refreshment options inside but there does seem plenty of bars/restaurants/shops outside
Like all Chinese games you'll have your bags searched and possibly ID checked, you can't bring your water bottle in (even on a hot day!) but otherwise ok. Police do the job of stewards inside the ground but are generally quite passive.
The club has a very decent atmosphere considering it's one of the smallest in the league. They seem to embrace their foreign fans and is the only one I think in the league to have an English speaking fanclub.
