etxebe has rated Aitchison Playing Field 1.0 out of 5.
The ground had a very much building site feel to it and I understand down to upgrades that are ongoing. The only seated stand is terrible (see view section) and a third of the ground is out of bounds so for those of us to like to switch ends at half time you're a bit screwed.
There is a big field adjacent for overflow parking, but it isn't clear or signposted and we only found out after spending five minutes maneuvering into a tight parking spot.
Clubhouse was decent though I felt pricey for a pint and the turnstile staff were friendly and had a nice chat before the game about the club and their current ambitions.
Easy to get to but you can easily miss Castle Road (which you have to turn into) if you're not careful
If you sit in the seated stand one of the very thick pillars will obstruct your view and you'll also get the sun in your eyes if it's a sunny day afternoon.
Toilets inside clubhouse, standard for this level
Pint a bit pricey, didn't have any food
