Overall a good day out and a good friendly atmosphere to come to watch football. Ticket pricing is fairly cheap depending on what category game you go to.
£41 was what I paid for my ticket in the upper tier for this category "A" game so can be expensive.
great view of the pitch of watching in my opinion the best league in the world
I would reccomend this ground to anybody looking for a experience of european football.
the ground is fairly easy to get to but the underground is the way I went and is two stops from the Frankfurt main train station. when you get off the underground its about a five minute walk up a straight road and the stadium is on the right
The view of the pitch is very good apart from in the standing area behind the goal as ultras are in the area with massive flags which I imagion will hinder your view.
In terms of comfort the seats are fairly comfortable but are your usual plastic seats. Leg room is good for the average sized human being but anyone over 6ft might find they have sore knees in the morning
as you would expect from german grounds it is very clean and the staff are very helpful, your general facilities like your toilets are again very clean and tidy.
This is definetly the place to come to if you there to enjoy a drink, beer and pretzels are the main choices of people at the ground. Pricing was cheap but a bit complicated where you paid 6euros for a pint but if you took the plastic pint holder back you would get two euros back and they would give a card for putting money onto. As I said very complicated
outside of the ground there were volunteers that were very helpful in directing you which area you should access the ground nearest to were you where seated. But once you got inside it was very diferent the stewards were very much for getting you to your seat and if you try taking a picture they will tell you to move on.
Police prescence was non existent I saw lots of police turning up before the game but after they had vanished which I felt was a bit risky considering there is a big ultras prescence at german games.
The atmosphere was excellent I found that most german football fans are very friendly and at my last game I was sat beside three Schalke 04 fans who were the opposition lots of fans were mixed in together and there was absolutely no bother at all of what I seen
