Obviously, as they are our rivals, i could be very negative about the ground, but apart from the Grandstand it's a decent ground. I will try and remember all the times i've visited it and review it. If you go by train if you sing through the station you will get funny looks as we did. We got escorted up under an echoing bridge and you walk forward and turn right then turn left up on of the streets looking at the park as its a derby walking up there and singing it quality, we walked through the park chanting scum at the argyle fans the horses came and helped the escort and there was banter between fans. We got to the ground and got escorted down a path eventually getting to the away end. If you bring a large following(like us) the concourse will be packed. Bottles flew everywhere and city fans bounced. We entered the stadium and walked to our seats. Argyle were quiet but we were loud (this is about the latest time i went). At kick off they had a display but we sung loud and as they started to sing lots of city fans pushed towards the argyle fans and the stewards had no grip as it kicked off the atmosphere got better but Argyle were still quiet. Loads of city fans came in late and they wouldnt let them sit right next to the segregation causing it to kick off a bit. Everytime Argyle sang loads of our fans pushed the stewards going up to the segregation and a few got through out. The city defense were very very poor getting outmuscled and outpaced all the time leading to a free kick goal causing jubilation for the argyle fans and yet more city fans kicked out for pushing towards the argyle fans. As people went down to go for a piss or get a drink or food i noticed the stewards wouldn't let them back to their seats!all It happened all game causing many to get thrown out. Just before half time more poor defending caused a 2nd goal with the same happening as last game. At this point a herd of riot police starting running into the concourse. A city fan had been knocked out by a steward and it had all kicked off! Loads kicked out and arrested and police hit city fans with batons, it carried on for a while. Then the second half began a Luke McCormick came to the city fans with a massive serge of fans abusing him. The murderer chants carried on all second half and stewards said anyone to chant it would be kicked out which failed obviously but a few did get kicked out. Argyle got a 3rd at the end causing anger through the city fans and more kicked out. Argyle had won 3-0 and i was disgusted at the shit performance from our players. To conclude the atmosphere was shit for a derby but loud at some points (argyle fans) we were quite loud tho. Also the stewards were a disgrace and watch out for steward 112 and security 53 although 1 steward was friendly and talked to me.
Very heavy handed
