"My Review of Villa Park"

I think Villa Park is a fantastic ground, a real joy to go to and I wouldn't mind going there on a weekly basis. The atmosphere there is amazing, And the view is really great.

If England ever get the a major competition (eg, Euro or World Cup) this ground should definitely be part of it. Also in my opinion Wembley shouldn't be there for the semi-finals of the FA Cup, it definitely should be Villa Park and of course Old Trafford. This ground is that good it, it is up there with the best (Old Trafford etc).

Location

The ground is fairly easy to get to. There was a bit of traffic before getting near the ground but that can only 10-15 mins delay and it is easy to get out of after the game.

View

The view is amazing inside the ground, doesn't matter where you sit/stand around the ground you get a good view of the game. If you are behind either goal you can't see the people at the top opposite you in the top tier but to be honest you don't really need too. There is definitely enough leg room and the seats are comfortable.

Facilities

The facilities are great there, toilets are big enough for enough people to get in and out of and use. And they are clean, bit of graffiti on the walls but which toilets don't?

Food & Drink

The food and drinks there are very good.. and they are cheaper then a lot of grounds. Queuing is a bit long but it's worth it when you finally get what you eat. The queue dies down quick as the service is fast.

Police & Stewards

The local police are very friendly and fair, let things go to a certain extent.. they will let you have your "football fun" but anything over the line and you're out.. the Stewards are exactly the same.

Atmosphere

Atmosphere is absolutely amazing, I haven't witnessed a full stadium there, but when I went Doncaster Rovers took nearly 8,000 and in my 15 years supporting them it has to be the best support I have seen them take away. Even though the stadium wasn't close to been full. The home fans still made a lot of noise. The supporters who were about were very friendly but the local people who aren't football fans aren't friendly.
