dorsetdave has rated The Cuthbury 3.5 out of 5.
Wimborne Town is well supported for a step 4 club with over a 250 average for each game. For games with local rivals Poole Town the attendance approaches 4 figures. The ground has been played on for decades and the facilities are well worn now. However a new ground is promised so things are only patched up. But the supporters and Directors are very friendly so it makes for a good atmosphere. The pitch has got rather a sideways slope on it and talk of flattening the ground has been mooted over the years. However again with a new ground in prospect nothing will be done about it. 2 sides of the ground however are under cover. There is a brick clubhouse with bar and Sky which also includes a tearoom which is very well run by 3 stalwart ladies and burgers, chips and hot drinks are usually available. Car parking is adequate and local buses from Poole and Bournemouth visit Wimborne Square (10mins walk away) regularly.
