"Freezing"

has rated Victoria Park 2.0 out of 5.

dontcallmeroger's review of Victoria Park

Only visited Hartlepool once - for a rearranged cup tie in the late 70s after the original game was called off due to bad weather. Leeds won 6-2 but I went home suffering from frostbite.

Location

Too close to the coast to visit in January

View

Terracing at the time I visited. Typical small ground - so close to the action I felt I was playing on the wing for most of the game.

Cold.

Atmosphere

Too cold for much atmosphere. It was only the frequency of our goalscoring that stopped me suffering an untimely death
