dontcallmeroger's review of Ta Qali Stadium

Came across the Ta' Qali stadium whilst on holiday in Malta, in summer 2001. No game on, no one around, main entrance unlocked, so I conducted my own mini stadium tour, checking out the offices, trophy cabinets (obviously pretty empty!) and pitch. Didn't see a soul.

Weather probably a bit hot for playing football most of the year but great for watching.

Location

In the centre of the country, in the middle of nowhere but is easily accessible to anyone with a car. Probably a bit more difficult on public transport

Police & Stewards

Great - there weren't any around when I visited!

Atmosphere

As this was a one man stadium tour, the atmosphere was non-existent, but it was great to have the place to myself
