I went to this to this ground the home of both Wem Town and Shawbury United to see a game between Shawbury United and Shrewsbury Town reserves. The ground is very very basic, which is acceptable because the club have no money and they are in a very low league. The ground itself consists of one main stand which is quite good, it has 200 seats with standing area either side of it for maybe another 200 people, this main stand has an area for buying food and drinks and also changing rooms and toilets. There are no other stands to the ground but equally there doesn't need to be.
Getting to this ground is fairly easy, there is a train station nearby and good parking. Wem is also a nice town so go have a look around the high street and maybe vist the local pub.
The view from inside the ground from the main stand is great for the overall shoddyness of the ground. The seats are comfortable and the leg room is good.
Excellent facility inside the main stand for a ground like this, as I have already mentioned.
Good prices for the food and drink.
There is not enough fans for an atmosphere and both the home and away fans sit together so there is never anything in terms of atmosphere.
