Recreation Park is easy to find in Rosyth and has good public transport links. Once inside the stadium however although the pitch looks to be a good level surface, the facilities are limited, but cover most needs of the spectators. However the wide open nature of the stadium is a very significant drawback which, with its lack of shelter or dry underfoot standing areas, must make watching matches here a bit of an endurance test in anything other than dry, calm weather.
Access to Recreation Park is easy with local bus services passing the ground regularly - long distance bus services and main line rail services are at nearby Dunfermline with local bus services from there.
The ground is located on the A985 on the western edge of Rosyth, and has some car parking at its entrance (Note this shared with a public house which is currently closed, if this bar was to re-open then the car parking availability may be considerably reduced)
The view of the pitch is excellent from any part of the ground, as there are no seated areas nor terracing for standing. The pitch is surrounded by a single rail fench and the spectating areas comprise the grass surrounds with banked grass slopes on three sides of the ground. The slopes behind each goal area have a few crush barriers.
the stadium is open to the elements with neither trees nor buildings close by to shelter the area from the elements..
There is a clean toilet inside the social club/snack bar area, but no other facilities for spectators.
the snack bar inside the social club is open to all spectators and services a limited range of hot/cold snacks and drinks at reasonable prices

Very difficult to create an atmosphere in the wide open spaces of Recreation Park
