dannyodonnell has rated Oakwell 3.0 out of 5.
The ground looks like a shed from the outside, and a run down one at that, with nothing really to do apart from a leisure centre and a few home fans pubs, which don't allow us Forest in!
Concourse is basic but does the job well, food is good to be fair.
The away allocation is very good and the stewards were also good, with no stress at all despite standing throughout. No banter between home and away supporters as their singing section is located opposite to the away end, which was disappointing.
Other side of town to Nottingham, and as there was some trouble in the town centre it took us ages to get from one side of Barnsley to the other. Nothing really to do.
Leg room is standard although they have no problem with you standing. Pillars can get in the way at the top of the stand but if you're used to old fashioned grounds no problem really.
Basic but do the job effectively.
Decent pricing and good quality food the usual selection.
Police were out in force as they really hate Forest fans, as we're 'scabs', they were a little heavy handed, never saw stewards.
3,000 Forest fans made some good noise, but with no-one to sing to and no noise from the home end it was disappointing.
