To be honest selhurst park has seen better days before, and even better days before then! The newest stand has flooding in the basement and subsidence, the Aurthur Waite stand (where the home and away fans are housed) still has wooden seats and a pretty awaful view from the back, food has improved since the new owners took over, but good luck trying to get in and out during half time - it's pretty much impossible.
A nightmare to get to (by car) if you are not coming from the local area, although the idea that parking is bad is a myth as I have never had problems parking around the ground and once the game is over is pretty easy to get away. All in all I agree it needs knocking down! But untill we move to a new ground (at Crystal Palace park hopefully) it's all we've got, there are worse grounds out there but there are most certainly better ones too... although the same can't be said for the fans! Palace fans are the best
Between a number of train stations get off at either Selhurst or Norwood Junction - both equal distance away. If driving get there a bit earlier and there will be no problems
Depends on where you sit! Anywhere but the Aurthur Waite is okay but the away section is pretty poor!
Standard really
Improving
Not usually any trouble - unless you're Brighton of course or Millwall.
The old style of the ground can make for a great atmosphere!
