has rated Recreation Club 2.5 out of 5.

covboyontour1987's review of Recreation Club

Dad's army was in town the day I arrived(World War 2 revival) and by the look of the average age at the ground (circa70) they must have all been here. Besides that, the staff were welcoming and looked after me brilliantly. Ample car parking and the stands offer plenty of cover from the rain. Well worth a visit and the bar staff are excellent.

Location

Easy to find

View

I sat in the stand and it was a fine view, except for the odd post or two holding the roof up obscuring a little bit of the pitch.

Facilities

Clubhouse was excellent.

Food & Drink

Food was hot and ready to be served from a kitchen, nice curry and chips. Massive queue at half time.

Atmosphere

Poor.
