charlesjennison has rated The New Lawn 1.5 out of 5.
In all honesty the New Lawn cannot seem to cope with crowds over 1500. The access is a massive problem but no doubt things will change when the new ground is built next to the M5. However the ground is the best of all the small clubs in the Vanarama League.
Terrible access road up the hill out of Nailsworth. Parking very limited for a large crowd. The worst thing about the day was the 90 minutes it took to get out of the ground to get back on to the A46 in Nailsworth.
Good viewing from the main stand at the half way line, however the legroom was a bit cramped.
Clean and tidy throughout the ground, just a shame there were not enough toilets.
The food was shocking. The general consensus was there should have been a choice between proper food and veggie products; enough said.
The stewards I came across were very helpful but I didn't have an inflatable banana with me.
The Red Imps supporters certainly cranked up the atmosphere; the home supporters sounded like a pensioners choir at the Over 60's Club.
