charlesjennison's review of The International Stadium

The International Stadium is one of the most depressing places to go and watch a game of football. Wide open spaces, awful weather and a lack of home fans make it one of the worst rips of the season.

Location

Easy to get to; just a shame about the poor parking facilities.

View

Miles away from the pitch even worse than the Don Valley Stadium was.
The seats in the main stand face the north east and in the middle of winter leave you generally frozen and wet through when it rains.

Facilities

The stadium is very dated and needs freshening up.

Food & Drink

Excellent food and drink, very reasonably priced too.

Atmosphere

The locals are so pleased when a decent away following visits as at least there is a semblance of some noise. With two open ends there is no atmosphere whatsoever.
