"Good Old Burnden Park How We Miss You"

Although I was only a young wanderer when we moved, I loved the place. It had such a great atmosphere and was one of the mos iconic grounds ever. I mean how many football grounds sell half of a stand (which stopped us from going bankrupt) for it to be (the half sold) demolished and a supermarket built attached to the famous old ground? It served us well for 102 years but it was one of the clubs biggest mistakes leaving it to become an Asda!!!

It was 1 mile from Bolton town centre, located on Manchester Road.

Facilities

The toilets were just holes in the floor literally!

Food & Drink

Burnden Park had the best pie shop ever next door to it.

Police & Stewards

Ahhhhhh they were good they allowed the pitch invasions!

Atmosphere

The atmosphere (when bolton were playing well) was absolutely electric - it was simply wonderful.
