bobby3 has rated Ramblewood Soccer Complex 1.5 out of 5.
This was the temporary home of the Charlotte Independence after they were unable to secure a desirable agreement to play at the much larger American Legion Memorial Stadium near the center of the city.
Ramblewood is a well known soccer park in Charlotte, most of the amateur teams either play their games, or have played their games on one of Ramblewood's fields. The stadium was built on the middle field using modular stands. It wasn't the most comfortable arrangement, and didn't yield large crowds, but the team should be credited for making the most out of a bad situation.
The modular stands have since been removed, the park returned to its previous state, and the team has moved to a new, permanent facility in the suburb of Matthews.
