bleedorange0037's review of Selhurst Park

I've been to Selhurst both as an away day, and sat in the home end as a neutral. The view and particularly the atmosphere in the Holmesdale Road Stand is fantastic. Great singing section and just an overall enjoyable time. The view from the away end on the other hand is by far the worst I've encountered in England. If you're anywhere other than down near the front, it's like watching the game through a letterbox, and you can't see anything if the ball isn't being played on the floor. The ground is situated right in a residential neighborhood, and has that old school feel which is nice. On the negative side, it's just a long way from Central London, and not very well connected. 5* ground if you sit in the home end, 2 1/2* at best as an away day.
