This is how to build a new stadium. To me it has everything , great sight lines decent facilities and a massive capacity. It is not often I go into a ground and get the ‘Wow’ factor, but here I certainly did.
The fact it is still within the heart of Tottenham and not moved away from the clubs traditional heartbeat is a huge bonus too, and this one is well worth a visit. I have been once, and will return albeit I am not a Spurs fan.
This West Ham fans (And board) is how to do a stadium....
As stated, it is in the heart of Tottenham, in fact adjacent to the White Hart Lane ground. It is served by trains to White Hart Lane and also Northumberland Park as well as a park and ride scheme that also operates. Easy to get to with a bit of planning.
We were towards the top of one end but had superb views across the entire pitch. Plenty of leg room and although the seat was a bog standard plastic one and not padded a la Emirates, it was still comfortable enough .
Loads of outlets for food and merchandise and loads of toilets too.
Did not consume....
All the stewards were very friendly and helpful and the few police on duty were too.
Superb atmosphere even though it was a pre season game. It seems the design of the roof holds a lot of the noise within the stadium.
