This is a superb ground that attracts decent crowds and where I received a very warm welcome . The fans here are passionate and knowledgable about their team and footy and it is a must visit for any footy fan visiting Glasgow.
Literally three minutes walk from Pollokshaws East station which is about 12 minute journey from Glasgow Central.
Because of the vast crowds the view can be compromised somewhat especially if you stand on the side. However there is plenty of room behind the goal especially the end the opposition are attacking if they have not brought vast numbers.
There is no seating on the ground and only one cover, albeit it is huge and covers a decent proportion of one side. The remainder is terracing that has seen better days.
Plenty of cover as mentioned although toilets are a bit Spartan inside the ground although there are some in the clubhouse.
Decent selection of hot and cold food and drinks from the kiosk pitchside
No police at my game, plenty of stewards who were all friendly enough.
Excellent atmosphere with Pollok fans getting behind their team.
The people on the turnstiles as well as those selling programmes and souvenirs were all very friendly too.
