bha52 has rated Villa Park 4.5 out of 5.
My recent visit to Villa Park was 19th October 2019, where Brighton took the lead but went down to 10-men allowing Villa to equalise and score an injury time winner at the last kick of the game.
Aston Villa 2-1 Brighton & Hove Albion, Premier League 2019/20
Out of the away trips I have been in Birmingham, Aston Villa really stands out for me. The size of the stadium and passion of the home supporters were impressive.
The Holte End stand is much bigger in reality than photographs portray.
I preferred the view from the top tier as you have a much better view of the game, rather than the bottom tier.
Upstairs had a unique paint effect on the wall - white with claret and blue paint splatter. An obvious issue is space, or lack of it for away supporters unlike downstairs where there’s some space. The toilets need refurbishing as it felt like I was in a 1990’s school.
Good range available
Quite helpful but strict as they wanted no nonsense from anyone.
Villa fans really back the team from the first whistle. Stadium erupts when they score, notably the injury time winner.
