"Fantastic new stadium"

My recent visit to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was 26th December 2019, where Brighton let a 1-0 lead slip as Spurs fought back to take the victory.

The stadium is brand new which looks superb from the outside. Once inside, it gets even better and certainly lives up to its reputation. It’s worth noting the whole stadium is cashless, even the programme stalls!

It’s a world class stadium I would recommend to any away supporter as you will certainly enjoy the experience.

An excellent view of the pitch - you realise just how big it really is. The away fans are housed in an area fitted with rail seating (Safe standing). It was the first stadium I have visited with these installed - I found it useful.

Facilities

Once you’ve entered via the fancy turnstiles which slide diagonally, the concourse is just as impressive. The only downside, as you’d expect, was it becomes very crowded 45 minutes before kick-off and at half time.

There are TV screens advising when fans should take their seats 5 or 10 minutes before kick-off. All kiosks are cashless.

Food & Drink

Good selection available, my favourite item was the Fish and chips which tasted great.

Police & Stewards

Excellent - they check and scan your tickets to ensure you’re in the correct stand (reminded me of airport security as it was well organized!)

Atmosphere

It was buzzing and intense. The stadium erupts when the home team score. It’s a stadium Spurs fans can be proud of.
