My recent visit to Old Trafford was 10th November 2019, where Brighton didn’t take full advantage of pulling a goal back as Manchester United scored 2 minutes later to take victory.
Manchester united 3-1 Brighton & Hove Albion, Premier league 2019/20.
Old Trafford is an impressive stadium full of character and history and for any fan it’s a ground that’s worth visiting. The stadium also hosts the Rugby Super League Grand Final.
Away supporters are generally housed in the East stand tier 1 for league games. However, when we played Man Utd in the FA cup we were housed in East stand tier 2.
From tier 1 the view is excellent, no problems there. In tier 2 the view varies depending on where you are sitting in that stand. The further back you are, you will feel miles away from the pitch and the view can be restricted from the overhanging roof. When I was in tier 2, I couldn’t see the ‘Stretford End’ but was just able to see the goalpost.
Both areas were good.
Good range available from the Reds (unlike the blue side of Manchester, but that’s another story)
Excellent and happy to help.
Much better the last time I went, the ‘Stretford End’ were in full voice. On previous visits it was lacking and we made more noise than them, notably in the FA cup!
