"The Ricoh Arena, Coventry City"

I visited the Ricoh Arena on Boxing Day 2009 as an away supporter for Doncaster Rovers to see them face Coventry City. The stadium looked decent from the outside, the Ricoh building connected to the stadium didn't bother me at all. The ground inside looked really nice with the sky blue seats around the ground and a nice view of the pitch from where I was sat. Coventry played fantastic football against Doncaster, it included 2 penalties for Coventry in the first half and second half 1 missed and 1 scored. My second trip was a matter of Coventry trying to last another week to try stay up but relegated Doncaster Rovers had other ideas and caused an upset by winning comfortably and dragging the skyblues down with them. The atmosphere from Doncaster fans was brilliant, the Coventry fans were poor and began fighting in their home ends due to the owners.
