You can see how various cup runs have improved the fortunes at Tamworth as various bits of pieces of the stadium have improved. Most of it so it doesn't look like a dump on TV. They've got a 3G pitch, one stand for seating and minimal refreshments for this level of football. As soon as you go behind the stands it's just mud. Lacks a bit of infrastructure. Still, not a bad ground. It's passable.
It's less than a mile from the train station and easy enough to access. Although when we went there it was raining heavily so the underpass to the ground was flooded out and I got my trainers wet!
We stood behind the dugouts and the fencing, designed to separate supporters is a little hard to see through. Otherwise fine. We moved down to the corner in a raised area and the view was way better there.
