Drove up from Glasgow to watch Fort William take on Jeanfield Swifts in a pre-season friendly. Swifts fielded a young team, made quite a few minutes in midfield and struggled to man-mark. Finished 9-3 in Fort William's favour with thunder, nearby lightning, and torrential rain defining the last 20 minutes.
Relatively easy to get to, right off the main road into Perth from the north. North Muirton itself isn't the nicest of areas, but the ground and pitch is well situated and there is room for a number of cars at the ground. For a bigger league game though, you might need to resort to on-street parking. Located a couple of miles from the city centre, so a decent walk from either the bus or train stations.
Standing only, but unrestricted views of the pitch from all angles and free to wander around and stand where you like.
Didn't need to use the facilities, but couldn't see any - unless they are within the clubhouse.
No food and drink available, but that may be due to today's game being a pre-season warm-up.
Pre-season game, doesn't really apply. Quite a few family members cheering on the Swifts' youngsters.
