"Poor"

I decided to go on a Saturday afternoon as I was bored and I'd like to see what a big crowd is like in lower level non league and they have a big stadium so I set off looking forward to it. I arrived at 2:45 To see that there was nobody in the 'car park' (it was more of a landfill) and so I subsequently turned around and headed home, thinking that I had got the wrong day. It turned out that there was a game and it was the first team but nobody was there. I assumed this was a one off and headed about my businesses. Six months later my local team (Hinckley AFC) are scheduled to play there so I hear down with my replica shirt and scarf, expecting a big crowd. It turns out there was a big crowd but they were all AFC fans. To this day I still don't know why they have such a big ground and small support, can anybody help?
