Dorking Wanderers v Horsham - Tuesday, 15th November 2016
Ryman League Division One South
A very tidy little ground, providing a good match day experience.
We attended an evening kick-off, so had to park in a nearby vineyard. A ten minute walk along made footpaths, which were unlit. The ground is off a dual carriageway, a way out of Dorking. There are two railway stations within a mile.
No fan access on the dug-out side of the ground, small standing areas behind both goals, one with a small covered area.
There is a small unreserved seating stand next to the tea stall and clubhouse.
Small ground so good views.
Plenty of toilets.
Small fan shop stocking a good range of programmes.
Programme for £2.
Tea and coffee for £1.
Bar in the clubhouse.
Burgers and hot dogs cooked to order.
No police present.
Friendly staff.
Despite a 7-1 defeat, the Horsham fans were cheerful and vocal throughout. Only 226 in attendance.
Some friendly banter, but no trouble.
