Carshalton Athletic v Tooting and Mitcham United
26th December 2016
Local derby, with both sides in the hunt for the play-offs, so a decent ground for a reasonable match.
The ground is accessible down a lane. Not much local parking, but there are two car parks. Short walk to Carshalton station and bus routes.
Entry to the ground allows access to sit in the small stand, from where the view is good. Standing all around the ground, so plenty of places to watch from.
The facilities all seem to have been updated and improved.
The programme had sold out.
My son went to get the drinks at half time, returned ten minutes into the second half; small queue, but slow service. Nice coffee though.
No police and nothing for the stewards to do.
Decent atmosphere, no trouble. The away fans were quite vocal
