SBV (Stichting Betaald Voetbal) Excelsior vs NAC (NOAD ADVENDO Combinatie) Breda
Eredivisie - Sunday, 11th February 2018
Ground now called "Van Donge & De Roo Stadion"
Excellent little ground with excellent staff. The box office staff were brilliant. You cannot buy tickets on-line with English cards, so they exchanged friendly e-mails and happily reserved two tickets for me to collect and pay for on the day.
Easy to find. Limited club car parks in the ground. On-street parking is via meters, but was free on Sunday. We were able to park 100 yards from the ground.
Unreserved seating, so we sat on the half way line. Clear view, especially as it is a small ground.
Seats clean.
Club shop inside the entrance. Free programme, teamsheet and fixture list.
Clean toilets.
A few stalls. The food was good, but relatively dear, when considering the tickets were very reasonable.
Friendly steward created us, asked about football and chatted in perfect English. Gave us programme, teamsheet and fixture cards. Really helpful.
As mentioned above, the box office staff could not have been more helpful and friendly.
Small ground, pretty full, so decent atmosphere.
No trouble.
NAC Breda brought a good number of fans, most in fancy dress.
Enjoyable afternoon.
