Royal Football Club de Liege SA v Koninklijke Sporting Hasselt - Belgium Third Division Group B - 28th March 2016
RFC Liege moved into their new ground in 2015, moving back to Rocourt. Excellent little ground, which is actually not yet finished.
Three-one wun for RFC Liege, in a decent open game.
Out of town ground, away from the city centre and public transport. The ground is on the side of a hill so is only accessible from one side. The road outside the ground is used for parking, but is blocked by Police at one end, so only one-way on match days. We parked easily within 500 metres.
One stand of seating on one side of the pitch, one stand of standing behind one goal. The other end has no stand and the other side has a club house. We stood behind the goal. No pillars, so an excellent view.
Small club shop.
No programme on sale.
they have not built the toilets yet, so three portaloos and a temporary urinal, on muddy ground.
Two sheds selling beer, no food on sale.
A week after the bombs in Brussels meant higher security. Searches on the way in. Police in attendance, in numbers and fully armed.
Being an open ground and with little away support, the atmosphere was not great, but friendly.
