Valenciennes FC v Bourg-En-Bresse Peronnas 01 (Ligue 2) 21st August 2015
Stylish modern ground, outside of the town centre. A bit big for the home team, so lacking a bit of atmosphere.
Not close to the town centre, but with plenty of on-street free parking in the resident streets. The police enforce parking on the approaches to the ground, we were moved on. The old ground's turnstiles are still standing on the main road. Bars and food outlets nearby.
Modern ground with clear views and good seats. The ground is raised up with a wide concourse around it. The box office is to one side and there are some car parking nearby.
Clear and sufficient.
Club shop under one of the stands.
Free programme left laying around on counters inside the ground, basically a coloured A4 sheet.
Plenty of outlets, at good prices, with no queues.
Police were polite when moving us on. Stewards fine. Box office staff helpful.
Stylish modern ground, but a bit big for the home team, so lacking a bit of atmosphere. The away team brought only nine fans with them! But that did include the drummer and two flag wavers. One-one draw, not a great game.
