Sint-Truiden VV v KSV Lokeren - Belgium First Division A - Saturday, 30th July 2016
Small gate for the opening weekend of the new league season.
We went to the ground early to get tickets, but the box office does not sell tickets on the day of a game, instead you have to buy from kiosks in the lead-up to the game. No queues and plenty of tickets available.
One-nil home win, between two evenly matched sides.
The ground is about a mile from the town centre. We cycled from where we were staying and left our bikes in a covered bike stand, of which there were a several. The locals streets were not suitable for parking, but there were official car parks. Most people seemed to be walking in or cycling. A few bars and food outlets around the ground.
The seats were good and the view unobstructed from the Oost Tribune.
Club shop outside the ground.
Enough toilets.
Plenty of room behind the stand.
Plenty of stalls for food and drink, reasonable prices and decent quality.
Never saw the Police and the stewards had nothing to do.
Small crowd, with not many away supporters, so quite subdued atmosphere.
