The box office only sells tickets to club card holders, no exception. You can order a card on-line, but it takes five days to be posted out. So if you turn up and want to watch the game, tough. Clearly other people were being refused tickets and clearly people were buying extra tickets and selling them, directly outside the box office and entry, in full view of the stewards on the gate.
I asked a local for assistance, his mate was a club card holder and he was waiting for him. The mate bought four tickets, only five euros each, two for them and two for us. Money and tickets exchanged literally outside the entrance in front of the stewards who let us in with a word. Utterly ridiculous.
The ground is in the south of the city, near major roads, shops and transport links.
The car park costs three euros.
There is a modern stand along one side of the pitch. Tickets are numbered, but you sit where you like. Clean seats and uninterrupted view.
No fan shop.
One tea stall.
There was a free teamsheet, but we never found out where you got it from.
Never tried the stall, there was a queue.
No police and stewards did very little. Not searched.
Small crowd, clearly knowledgeable and appreciated good football, but no actual atmosphere. No trouble.
