Not a full house for the cup tie, which was being shown live on TV. Eindhoven made it a special occasion though.

Location

Good location on the outside of the city, within a sports complex. Some on-road parking within the complex and an underground car park. Plenty of free on-street parking nearby. Near several bus routes. No bars, cafes, etc nearby, the nearest café is in the swimming baths.

View

Unreserved seating in the stand opposite the main stand. We arrived a bit early and got back row seats (eighth row) on the half way line. Clear view, no posts. A terrace behind one goal, flat behind the other.

Facilities

There was a small fan shop.
Enough toilets, everything very clean and tidy.

Food & Drink

Decent and cheap tea and coffee. Small style selling food.

Police & Stewards

No police visible. A few stewards, who had nothing to do. We bought our tickets from the club office, the lady was helpful and spoke great English.

Atmosphere

The Heerenveen fans were loud and enjoyed themselves. Decent atmosphere especially when Eindhoven pulled a goal back and made a game of it. No trouble.
